Character Bazaar License

1. License Overview

All assets on Character Bazaar are licensed — not sold. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the assets according to your selected license type. Ownership and intellectual property remain with the creator or Character Bazaar.

2. Permitted Uses

• Creative projects (games, animation, marketing)
• Client work (final files only)
• Portfolio or study purposes

3. Prohibited Uses

• Resale, redistribution, sublicensing
• Upload to marketplaces or platforms
• Use in AI or NFT projects without permission
• Trademarking or use as brand mascots without approval

4. License Types

4.1 Standard License

The Standard License is suitable for individuals or small businesses working on a single, defined project.

Allowed:

• Modify the asset (pose, color, etc.)
• Include in client work (final output only)
• Use in marketing, social media, web design, etc.
• Use in multiple products/projects

Not Allowed:

• Resell or redistribute the file
• Upload to marketplaces or stock sites
• Use as brand mascot, logo, or for NFTs without permission

4.2 Exclusive License

The Exclusive License grants you full and priority usage rights and ensures the asset will not be sold to others.

Allowed:

• Full and exclusive usage rights
• Use in any media or industry
• Use as logo, mascot, or core brand character
• Sell unlimited merchandise
• Modify and adapt asset fully

Not Allowed (Unless Copyright Transferred):

• Claim legal authorship or copyright
• Resell the asset in marketplaces
• Use in unlawful, harmful, or offensive content

4.2.1 Full Copyright Transfer

Available upon request, requiring a signed legal agreement and possible additional fees.

4.2.2 Copyright Note

Purchasing an Exclusive License revokes all earlier licenses and removes the asset from further sale.

4.3 Other License Options

Personal Use License

• For personal, non-commercial projects
• No resale, redistribution, or commercial use

Commercial Use License

• Use in monetized or professional work
• Extended terms available for apps, teams, mass distribution

Royalty‑Free License

• Unlimited project use without additional fees
• No redistribution or reselling

Editorial Use License

• Use in educational or journalistic content only
• No promotion or monetization

Modification (Derivative) License

• Permission to adapt or edit asset
• No redistribution unless explicitly allowed

Creative Commons Licenses (if marked)

• CC BY: credit required
• CC BY‑NC: non-commercial use only
• CC BY‑SA: edits use same license
• CC0: public domain

Enterprise / Custom License

• Mass use, team distribution, and platform integrations

5. Brand Usage Guidelines

• No use of our logo, name, or brand assets without explicit consent
• Attribution appreciated but not mandatory

6. Intellectual Property

All content remains the IP of Character Bazaar or the creator. You are granted rights — not ownership.

7. Protection & Monitoring

We embed watermarks and monitor usage. Copyright violations are pursued via DMCA or other legal means.

8. License Termination

• License terminates automatically upon violation of terms
• You must delete all copies of the asset

10. Refund Policy

Refunds are only issued for corrupted or misrepresented files within 14 days of purchase.
